One of two Pioneers to earn the at-large honor
GREENWOOD, Ind. – After posting a 4.0 cumulative GPA as a graduate student in accounting, Conor Sullivan of the Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse team was one of two Pioneers on the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team. Announced Thursday, Sullivan sits with men's fencer Tomas Koeck in a pool of 12 recipients in District 1.
The 2021-22 Men's At-Large team is selected by CoSIDA and recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.
Sullivan is no stranger to a perfect 4.0 mark as he posted the same GPA during his time as an undergrad at SHU. A double-major in accounting and finance, Sullivan graduated in 2021 before earning his master's in accounting in 2022.
On the field, Sullivan captained the Pioneers and was a staple on defense. The Norfolk, Mass. native appeared in 12 games and started in 11. He was second on the team with 10 caused turnovers and scooped 16 ground balls.
