Men's Basketball Heads to UAlbany

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team opens a two-game week on Tuesday, December 19, at the University at Albany at 7:00 pm.

Sacred Heart and UAlbany meet for the 15th time in series history. The teams have played each other six times as Division I programs and eight times in Division II. SHU holds the series record 8-6 but lost in the last meeting, 72-65 in 2019.
SHU will play its second straight road game, coming off a 78-64 loss at Providence on Saturday.
Three Pioneers are averaging in double figures: Nico Galette (15.1), Tanner Thomas (10.8), and Alex Sobel (10.5). Sobel leads the team in rebounds (7.2), and Galette is second with 7.0 rpg.
