Pioneers post milestones in singles
TRUMBULL, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team picked up a 6-1 non-conference win over Fordham on Saturday.
Junior Lefteri Apostolou and sophomore Matyas Vencl, who reached 20 career singles victories this season, clinched wins in three sets.
Graduate student Alberto Mello won his 17th career match and is three away from joining the 20th career win milestone.
Sophomore Darius Eftekhar notched his 10th career nod in straight sets.
Up next, the Pioneers travel to Rider on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
