Pazienza Named to USILA DI Dynamic Team of the Week

The junior backstopped the Pioneers to a dominating win over VMI
FAIRFIELD, Conn.- Sacred Heart men's lacrosse junior goalkeeper Alex Pazienza was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) 2023 Division I Dynamic Team of the Week.
Pazienza backstopped Sacred Heart to the first win of the season, taking down Virginia Military Institute, 16-4, in MAAC action on Saturday afternoon at home.
In SHU's lone game of the week, the junior goalkeeper made 12 saves in the win and only allowed four goals in 57:17 minutes of action. The four goals by VMI were the fewest they have scored since 2021.
Pazienza and the Pioneers are back in action on Wednesday, March 29th on the road at Marist at 7:00 PM to continue conference play.
