Basti Named USILA Senior All-Star Game Coach

FAIRFIELD, Conn.—The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced the coaches for the 2024 USILA Senior All-Star Game. Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse head coach Jon Basti will lead the Division I and II North Team.
The 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Coach of the Year will coach the Senior All-Star Game for the first time in his career. The game will be held on Friday, May 24, at Widener University in Chester, Pa., at 6:00 pm.
Basti led the Pioneers to their most successful season in program history. SHU won its first regular season title, postseason title, and made the program's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Pios won a record 13 games during the 2024 season, with a program-best 11-game win streak, finishing the year undefeated against MAAC opponents en route to claiming their first MAAC Championship.
