Morcillo secures first collegiate goal
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team defeated Army, 1-0, on the road for the first time since 2008. First year Ivan Morcillo secured the lone goal for the Pios.

The Pioneers came out strong in the first half, dominating possession of the ball. SHU held the Black Knights shotless in the first half while putting up 10 themselves.
In the 62nd minute, Alex Almuzara drew a foul in the box, resulting in a penalty kick for the Pioneers. Sam McCann took the penalty, but keeper Blair Camargo laid out for the stop in time.
The Pios goal came shortly after, in the 68th minute, when Aidan Borra sent a quick pass to Ivan Morcillo, who shot a perfectly placed ball from the top right of the box to the top left corner of the net.
The Pioneers out-shot the Black Knights 19 to three and eight to zero on goal. SHU also dominated in corner opportunities four to one.
