Epee squad finishes 3rd, saber 5th and foil 7th
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - The Sacred Heart women's fencing team finished in the top seven in all three weapons at the New England Intercollegiate Championships at Mount Holyoke.
In epee, the squad of Maria Alvim, Nadia Gaberkorn and Gabby Phelan placed third.
The Pioneers were fifth in saber. The squad was Jess Murphy and Nicole Dioh.
The foil squad of Jenna Jacinto, Megan DePersis and Ines Benadouda finished seventh.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Pioneers will compete in the NCAA Northeast Regionals on Mar. 9 in Medford, Mass.
