Grove Named MAAC Co-Face-off Specialist of the Week

EDISON, N.J. – For the fifth time this season, Sacred Heart men's lacrosse sophomore Ryan Grove has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Co-Face-off Specialist of the Week.
Grove had an outstanding week at the faceoff X, going 15-for-18 with five ground balls in Sacred Heart's 13-5 win over Manhattan on Wednesday. He followed that performance by going 17-for-29 with 10 ground balls in the Pioneers' 15-13 win over Hofstra on Saturday.
Overall, Grove won 68% of his faceoffs (32-for-47), collected 15 ground balls, and added one caused turnover during Sacred Heart's 2-0 week.
The Pioneers are ranked No. 20 in both the USILA Poll (March 23) and the Inside Lacrosse KANE Men's Division I Poll (March 30).
Sacred Heart returns home on Saturday, April 4, to take on Quinnipiac at noon on Campus Field.
