Men's Track and Field Finish Second at the the 50th ECAC Division I Women’s & 149th IC4A Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships

A program record leads the way
Piscataway, N.J. – The Sacred Heart University men's track and field team wrapped up day two of the 50th ECAC Division I Women's & 149th IC4A Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships with another strong showing, finishing second out of 18 teams.
The strong day two was highlighted by a program-record performance in the 4x800-meter relay. Dylan Peterson, Joshua Voorhees, Liam Keish, and Lance Hayes clocked a time of 7:39.58, earning a first-place finish.
Colin Brown secured the Pioneers' second event victory in the 200m, crossing the line in 21.73 seconds, just 0.03 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. He continued his strong performance with a fifth-place finish in the 100m, clocking a time of 10.64 seconds. Across both events, Brown totaled 14 valuable points for the Pioneers.
Alexander Rotondi added four points for the Pioneers in the 400m hurdles, finishing fifth overall with a time of 55.12 seconds.

The Pioneers will be back in action next week, as they are set to compete in the 130th Penn Relay Carnival at the University of Pennsylvania. The meet starts on Thursday, April 23 and will run until Saturday, April 25.
