
Link and Rudolph Earn All-MAAC Honors as 12 Pioneers Named All-Academic

Fairfield, Conn. – Sacred Heart baseball saw two student-athletes earn All-MAAC recognition while 12 Pioneers were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team following the 2026 season.
Fairfield, Conn. – Sacred Heart baseball saw two student-athletes earn All-MAAC recognition while 12 Pioneers were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team following the 2026 season.
Peter Link was selected to the All-MAAC Second Team after starting all 49 games played this season. Link batted .288 with 53 hits, 38 runs scored, 11 doubles, 12 home runs, and 41 RBI while posting a .543 slugging percentage. He also drew 26 walks, stole 12 bases, and finished with a .399 on-base percentage while sporting a .979 fielding percentage in the outfield.
Will Rudolph earned a spot on the MAAC All-Rookie Team after appearing in 48 games with 46 starts during his freshman campaign. Rudolph hit .241 with 42 hits, 29 runs scored, seven doubles, two home runs, and 21 RBI. He added 20 walks, two stolen bases, a .335 on-base percentage, and a .968 fielding percentage in the outfield.
Sacred Heart also placed 12 student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team, which recognizes student-athletes who maintain a GPA between 3.20 and 4.0. Ronan Donohue, JW Fitzgerald, Mitch Hawkins, Jack Kidwell, Drew Martin, Steak Newman, CJ Nolan, Ryan Parker, Jon Peterson, Daniel Rice III, PJ Rogan, and Christian Trantino were all honored for their work in the classroom.
