PJ DeFilippo enters his first season as the Assistant Coach in 2022, after spending the 2021 campaign as the Volunteer Assistant Coach and is a former Sacred Heart University alumni, graduating in 2018. DeFilippo played baseball as a Pioneer all four years as an infielder.
During his career at SHU, DeFilippo played in 193 games with 87 runs in 181 hits. In his senior year, DeFilippo became captain. He was named to the Northeast Conference All-Tournament Team in 2015 and 2016 and garnered two NEC Player of the Week accolades in 2017.
DeFilippo will work by assisting with hitting, defense and recruiting.
