Rashad Devoe enters his second season at Sacred Heart University, bringing more than 20 years of collegiate coaching, recruiting, and program-building experience to the Pioneers. A nationally respected tactician and leader, Devoe has served as a head coach at all three NCAA divisions and has built a reputation for elevating programs through disciplined culture, analytical innovation, and holistic scholar-athlete development.

Throughout his career, Devoe has led teams to competitive success while emphasizing academic achievement and personal growth. He is well known for his strengths in program evaluation, talent identification, and applying advanced sabermetric principles to improve both offensive and defensive efficiency.

At Sacred Heart, Devoe works closely with the faceoff and goalkeeping units and plays a key role in the program’s strategic planning and data-driven performance systems. His commitment to mentorship, integrity, and long-term program sustainability continues to make a meaningful impact within the SHU community.
