Fairfield, CT – The Sacred Heart women's tennis team lost their final Northeast Conference match of the season, 6-1 to LIU Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon. Sacred Heart ends the season with a 2-4 record in the NEC.

Sophomore Nicole Rydzewski (Maspeth, NY) earned the lone win for the Pioneers at #2 singles. Rydzewski took down LIU Brooklyn's Katya Yegoreychenko, 7-5, 4-6, 10-6. Rydzewski improves to 2-3 in NEC dual matches.

SHU is next in action on Friday afternoon when they travel to take on Holy Cross at 1:00 pm.
