NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — The Sacred Heart University baseball team dropped 4-2 in its second game of the series at Central Connecticut State University on Saturday.

Of Note:
- Anthony Porrino singled in the fourth inning, driving home Austin Markmann for his first RBI in his senior year. Markmann got into scoring range after Robert Farruggio belted a ground-rule double.
- In the top of the fifth, Justin Jordan connected with home plate when Joey Skarad grounded out to the shortstop.
- The Pioneers outhit the Blue Devils 11 to eight but couldn't capitalize with 11 stranded on base.
- Ryan LaMay opened for six innings, giving up all four runs with five strikeouts.
