BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Jake Babuschak only allowed a single run on the mound in the Sacred Heart University baseball team's 2-1 victory over Central Connecticut State University. The first-year pitcher snatched the 2-1 series win over the Blue Devils on Sunday, as the Pioneers turned their fortune from the last stretch earlier this season.

Of Note:

Elijah Brown's quick feet stole home to lead off the scoring in the first inning. With a fashion sense all his own, the senior leads the Northeast Conference in stolen bases with 24 and surpassed his 2017-18 career-high of 18.
Coming off an incredible home run yesterday, Isiah Daubon singled to right field which sent Justin Jordan to say hello to home.
Babuschak went seven innings with three strikeouts in his third triumph this season.
In the eighth inning, Tyler Briggs pitched two clean innings in relief and only gave up a single hit to clinch his first save of the year.
