Garriga and O’Toole reach career milestones in singles
FLUSHING, N.Y.— The Sacred Heart University women's tennis team closed out the regular season with a 6-1 victory at St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday.
The Pioneers took the doubles point and tallied five of six wins in singles.
SHU saw two players reach career milestones in singles. Sophomore Aina Garriga notched her 20th win while senior Ciara O'Toole clinched her 30th.
The Pioneers await their seeding in the Northeast Conference tournament, set to take place at Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor, N.J., on Apr. 14-16.
