FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) announced its Krampade All-American Scholars this afternoon, and the Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team had 10 players recognized for their academic achievement.
In total, 360 Division I men were recognized today from 60 programs. To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. The player's school is also required to be a member of the AHCA.
SHU's lone repeating honoree was
Cole Galata, who made it last season as a first year. Galata
John Driscoll, and
Jeremi Tremblay were also tabbed 2024-25 AHA Student-Athletes of the Year after posting 4.0 GPAs.
John Jaworski adds today's honor to being named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District earlier this summer.
