Women's Tennis Falls to Quinnipiac

NORTH HAVEN, CONN. — The Sacred Heart women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Quinnipiac University on March 20 at North Haven Racquet Club.

Quinnipiac claimed the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead, earning victories on two courts. Sacred Heart's pairs battled throughout, but the Bobcats carried momentum into singles play.

In singles action, the Pioneers picked up one point in the lineup. Ava Nelson delivered a strong performance, earning a hard-fought win to put Sacred Heart on the board.

Quinnipiac secured the remaining singles matches to clinch the 6-1 team victory.

Sacred Heart will look to regroup as the Pioneers continue MAAC play on March 29th against Marist.
