Nelson Named MAAC Rookie of the Week

FAIRFIELD, CONN - Ava Nelson of the Sacred Heart University Women's Tennis team has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rookie of the Week.
This comes after the Elk River, Minnesota native went 2-0 in singles as well as doubles impressive MAAC wins over Rider and in-town rival Fairfield. The award marks her third of the season for the first-year.
Sacred Heart will travel to Williamsville, New York this weekend to face MAAC opponent Niagara at 4:00pm at the Village Glen Tennis Club.
