2015-16:
- Northeast Conference All-Rookie Team
- Won the NEC's first Player of the Month award in the fall, as well as the first two Rookie of the Month awards
- Led the Pioneers with 18 doubles wins and was third with 12 triumphs in singles
- Both his seven third singles and third doubles victories in dual play were third most in the conference, while his .692 overall winning percentage with Anthony Savio was seventh
- In Tournament Play, Champan and Savio won Flight B of the UConn Invitational and were runners up at the Connecticut State Championships
- The two also won a match together at the ITA Regionals
