WEST POINT, N.Y. — Despite the bats coming alive in the final two innings, the Sacred Heart University baseball team dropped 9-4 to Army West Point on Tuesday.

Of Note:
- The Pioneers found their swing in the last two innings and drove in four runs, but couldn't muster the offense in time to even the score.
- Austin Markmann sent Joey Skarad home for SHU's first run after he reached first on a fielding error by the third baseman in the eighth.
- Justin Levito hit his first double of the season to left field to allow Joe Emerson and Michael Hernandez to cross the plate for the final two runs.
