Mello and Apostolou notch the Pioneers' lone victory in doubles
TRUMBULL, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team fell to Fairfield, 4-0, at the Tennis Club of Trumbull on Wednesday.
The team of Alberto Mello and Lefteri Apostolou earned a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles before the Stags took the final two to take the first point.
Fairfield ended up taking three wins from No. 1 to 3 in singles and clinching the match victory.
The Pioneers travel to take on Siena on Friday, Mar. 17, at 6 p.m.
