Vencl secures first-round win
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team competed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional tournament hosted by Harvard University over the weekend.
Senior Matyas Vencl won his main draw, first-round match against Stonehill but unfortunately lost in the next round to Cornell.
Sophomore Enrique Laennec-Baffrey won his first-round match in the qualifying draw versus Brown's Alexander Koong (6-2, 0-6, 10-6) before losing to Quinnipiac's Elias Hoxha in the next round.

The Pioneers travel to Quinnipiac next Saturday, October 26, for the Mixed Doubles Tournament.
