SHU wins doubles point and four singles matches
The Sacred Heart men's tennis team knocked off Marist 5-2 in a MAAC match.
Matyas Vencl and Enrique Laennec-Baffrey earned the Pioneers the doubles point with a thrilling tiebreaker victory at No. 1. Connor Liona and Brennan Hart-Nova also won in doubles at No. 3.
In singles, SHU won four matches, including a hard-fought 7-6, 7-5 win from Laennec-Baffrey at No. 2. Antoine Hernandez, Lucca Lafrance and Charlie Levinson were also singles winners. Hernandez rallied to win after dropping the first set.
The Pioneers improved to 4-7 overall and 2-2 in MAAC play with the victory.

Sacred Heart takes a break from league play to host Colgate next Saturday at 5 p.m. at home.
