Sacred Heart earned their 2nd win of the weekend
LAKEVILLE, MASS. – The Sacred Heart Women's Tennis team earned a 5–2 road victory over Stonehill on Saturday afternoon at the Lakeville Athletic Club.
The Pioneers claimed the opening point by winning two of three doubles matches. The duo of Ola Irla Bartyzel and Olivia Zuba picked up a win, while Ava Nelson and Savita Bagirathan followed with a victory to secure the doubles point for Sacred Heart.
Depsite Stonehill earning two points, Sacred Heart carried that momentum into singles play, winning four of six matches to clinch the overall victory. Bartyzel earned a straight-set win at No. 1 singles, while Nelson added a win at No. 2. Bagivathan and Zuba also recorded singles victories to seal the match for the Pioneers.
