GREENVILLE, R.I. — The Sacred Heart women's tennis team fell 4-2 to Bryant University on March 13 at Rally Point Racquet Club.
Sacred Heart secured the doubles point to open the match, taking two of the three courts. Sacred Heart's pairing of Ola Irla Bartyzel and Olivia Zuba picked up a 6-3 win and Malena del Olmo and Ava Nelson won 6-4 to highlight doubles play for the Pioneers.
In singles action, Sacred Heart earned a point in the lineup. Kiah James delivered a straight-set victory at No. 5 singles.
Bryant claimed the remaining singles courts to secure the 4-2 team victory.
Sacred Heart will look to regroup as they face Siena tomorrow at 5:45 PM at the Tennis Club of Trumbull.
