Biography

2017:

  • Appeared in 36 games with 33 starts, splitting between catcher and designated hitter. 
  • Recorded 24 hits and three doubles with 11 RBI
  • Tied career-high with three hits at Hawaii on March 24
  • Registered a season-high two RBI against Stony Brook on April 8
  • Gunned down 12 runners from behind the dish, good for fifth in the NEC

2016:

  • Had a breakout junior campaign, finishing third on the team with a .288 batting average in 32 games split between designated hitting and behind the plate
  • Ranked fifth with a .353 on base percentage
  • Finished 2-3 with two RBI’s, one run and a double in a victory at Nicholls on March 11
  • First three-hit game of his career on March 19 at Villanova, also driving in a run in a 2-0 shutout
  • Added yet another three-hit performance on May 21, finishing a perfect 3-3 against LIU Brooklyn
  • Followed that by ending the regular season two runs, one walk and an RBI in a 2-3 performance versus the Blackbirds the following day   

2015:

  • Appeared in 36 games his sophomore season, batting .165 with eight runs and six RBI’s
  • Finished 2-4 twice in the span of three days, doing so at UConn on March 11 and then Fordham on March 14
  • 1-2 with a two runs, a triple and a walk at Fairleigh Dickinson on April 3
  • First career three-hit game at Yale on April 15, adding a run scored and RBI
  • Went 1-2 with a double, run scored and career-high two RBI’s at LIU Brooklyn on April 19

2014: 

  • Hit 8-58 with two doubles in 33 appearances
  • In his first career NEC action, recorded back-to-back games with a double, scoring one run and driving in one at Fairleigh Dickinson on April 5-6
  • First career two hit game came in win at Quinnipiac on May 13

Before SHU:

  • He played four years of varsity baseball under Head Coach Glenn Lincoln at Westport High School
  • The two-year captain had a career batting average of .308 and an ERA of .294
  • Was a two-time Fall River Herald News All-star, two-time New Bedford Standard Times All-star, and a two-time Mayflower League All-star
  • Not just a leader on the diamond, he also captained the golf and basketball teams
