Pioneers Come Up Short at Brown

SHU falls 7-0 in first meet of 2022
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team dropped its first meet of the New Year at Brown, 7-0, on Saturday.
In singles action, both William Wibmer and Matyas Vencl tried clawing their way back in first and third singles by forcing a tiebreake. Both Pioneers came up short and fell in straight sets and fell 7-4 in tiebreakers.
SHU was unable to grab a doubles win and were defeated, 6-4, and, 6-2, in first and third doubles before second doubles was able to conclude.
