Pioneers fall 4-0 after match called due to rain
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team fell to Fairfield on Wednesday afternoon after Fairfield secured their four points due to the rain, 4-0.
In doubles play, Lefteri Apostolou and Enrique Laennec-Baffrey secured the 6-1 victory over the Stags at No.1 singles but the Pioneers were unable to secure the point at No. 2 or 3.
In singles play, Lefteri Apostolou and Enrique Laennec-Baffrey were battling through three sets but went unfinished.

The Pioneers travel to Fordham Thursday, March 28th, for a 3:30 p.m. start.
