Men’s Tennis Drops Home Match to Hofstra 5-2

LaFrance and Karajovic won their singles matches
TRUMBULL, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team dropped a home non-conference match to Hofstra, 5-2, Saturday night.
Antoine Hernandez and Paul Goncalves secured No. 1 doubles in a tight 7-5 victory. Brennan Hart-Nova and Connor Liona battled through a tie but ultimately fell at No. 2, 7-6 (2). The Pride took the doubles point at No. 2 and No. 3.
In singles play, Lucca LaFrance battled for the 7-5, 2-6, 10-8 win at No. 3 singles. Milan Karajovic also secured a singles point at No. 6 in a 6-4, 7-6 (9) decision.
The Pioneers return to conference play at Siena on Friday, March 14, at 6:45 p.m.
