
Men's Tennis Drops Heartbreaker to Siena

TRUMBULL, CONN. — The Sacred Heart men's tennis team dropped a tightly contested 4-3 match to Siena University on Saturday in Trumbull.
Siena took the early lead by securing the doubles point, winning at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, the Pioneers battled back to keep the match close. Tomasz Garbacz earned a hard-fought win at No. 1 singles, taking the match in straight sets that included a first-set tiebreak. Darren Huang followed with a strong performance at No. 3 singles, earning a 6-4, 7-5 victory.
Connor Liona added the third point for Sacred Heart with a convincing 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
Despite the effort from the Pioneers, Siena secured wins on the remaining courts to clinch the 4-3 team victory.
