Before SHU: Played four years of baseball at South Brunswick High School earning 2 varsity letters. During his time at the South Brunswick he was named team captain, selected All-County, and participated in the Senior All-Star game. He was also a part of the Spanish Honors Society and the National Honors Society.

His father is his role model because he has taught him everything he knows and has shown him how to act as both a man and a baseball player...
