FAIRFIELD, CT (February 3, 2004) -- The Sacred Heart women's lacrosse team will host two STX Girl's Lacrosse Camps this summer. Head coach Laura Kourtz will serve as camp director for two sessions, one to be held on the campus of Sacred Heart University and one at Nyack College.
STX Lacrosse Campers will leave camp with better individual skills - from stick handling to shooting to defending. Campers will develop a greater understanding of team play, learning the concepts to help make thier team better. The STX Lacrosse Camps were designed to give young athletes the opportunity to work hard and improve in a fun positive atmosphere.
To maximize improvement, all campers will be grouped by age and ability. There are three STX Skill Groups at each camp: Ages 8-11 - Division III, Ages 12-14 - Division II, Ages 15-18 - Division I.
The first camp in Nyack, NY will be held from July 26th through July 29th. The second camp will run from August 1st through 4th and be held at Sacred Heart in Fairfield, CT.
