
Pioneer Women's LAX Fall at Lehigh, 10-7

BETHLEHEM, PA (March 28, 2004) - The Sacred Heart women's lacrosse team dropped a 10-7 decision to Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, Sunday afternoon. The loss drops the Pioneers to 6-3 overall on the year while the Mountain Hawks improve to 3-4.
Sacred Heart's JoAnn Montesarchio (Cortlandt Manor, NY) finished with two goals and an assist for the Pioneers while freshman Maureen Hohn (Lutherville, MD) scored a goal and won three draw controls. Senior goalkeeper Amy Lavoie (Nashua, NH) made nine saves in the cage in taking the loss.
Meredith Carso led Lehigh with four points on two goals and two assists. Barrie Comisky added three points on two goals and an assist in the winning effort.
Sacred Heart returns to action this Thursday, April 1st with a trip to Marist for their final non-conference game of the year at 7:00 pm.
