Freshman Maureen Hohn Named NEC Lacrosse Rookie of the Week

FAIRFIELD, CT (April 21, 2004) - Freshman Maureen Hohn (Lutherville, MD) was named the Northeast Conference Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the week of April 12th through 18th.

The Lutherville, MD native posted two goals and two assists last week as the Pioneers went 1-1. Hohn picked up all her points in the Pioneers' 13-2 win over Central Connecticut State. The freshman midfielder also won four draws, recorded three ground balls and two caused turnovers. The Lutherville, MD product leads the Pioneers with 43 draw controls.

Hohn and the rest of the Pioneers will travel to Wagner this Friday, April 23rd and to Monmouth on Sunday, April 25th to close out the regular season.
