Women's Lacrosse Opens Fall Schedule on Saturday; Alumni Game Set for Oct. 14th

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (September 26, 2006) - The Sacred Heart women's lacrosse team will play in three fall tournaments starting this Saturday at the Hofstra University Tournament. SHU will host their annual Alumni Game on Saturday, October 14th on Campus Field.

In addition to traveling to Hempstead, New York this weekend, the Pioneers will also head up to Poughkeepsie on October 7th for the Marist College Tournament.

Following the Alumni Game on the 14th, the Pioneers will round out the fall with an appereance in the Fairfield University Tournament on October 21st.

Sacred Heart will open the 2007 season with seven-straight home games starting with Binghamton on February 25th at 1 pm.
