Montesarchio and Ottey Named to Women's Lacrosse NEC All-Tournament Team

Sacred Heart junior Liz Ottey (Baltimore, MD) and sophomore Mary Montesarchio (Cortlandt Manor, NY) were named to the Northeast Conference Women's Lacrosse All-Tournament team. The Pioneers were the #3 seed in this year's tournament, falling to #2 seed Monmouth in the semifinal game, 15-13.
Montesarchio led the Pioneers with six points, scoring twice and assisting on four other SHU scores. Montearchio was named an All-NEC first team selections and finished the with 36 points on 19 goals and 17 assists, third on the team.
Ottey scored a team-high four goals with an assist in the loss to Monmouth. The junior attacker finished the season with 27 goals, 16 assists and 43 points, second on the team.
