
SHU's Maureen Hohn selected for 2007 North-South Senior All-Star Game

Sacred Heart senior Maureen Hohn (Lutherville, MD) was selected to participate in the 2007 North-South Senior All-Star game on Saturday, June 16th. The game will be held at United Sports Training Center in Downington, Pennsylvania as part of the STX Farewell Lacrosse Festival. The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association and STX jointly sponsor this event, which showcases the nation*s top seniors.
Hohn recently wrapped up a stellar playing career with the Pioneers. She began her career in the midfield before making the successful transition to defense by her senior season. In her four years, Hohn scored 41 goals with 18 assists for 59 points. She scored 17 goals her freshman season and followed that with 14 markers as a sophomore before making the move to the defensive unit.
In 2007, Hohn led the team in both caused turnovers (22) and ground balls (31). A 2007 team captain, she was rewarded for her outstanding defensive play by earning a spot on the All-Northeast Conference first team. She finished up her four years with 58 caused turnovers and 120 ground balls. She ranks fourth all-time on the career ground ball list.
