The Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team opens the home portion of its 2015 schedule this week as it hosts Iona College on Wednesday and Holy Cross on Saturday. Admission to women's lacrosse games is complimentary for all fans.
Both games will be played on Campus Field. Wednesday's game versus Iona is scheduled for 3 p.m., while Saturday's game versus Holy Cross is set for 1 p.m.
The Pioneers enter the week at 0-1, after falling to crosstown rival Fairfield on Saturday. Wednesday's game is the season opener for the Gaels. Holy Cross opened the year with a 9-6 loss at Bryant and will host New Hampshire on Wednesday afternoon, before heading to Campus Field.
