
Women's Lacrosse Welcomes Seven In Class '22 To National Letter Of Intent

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team released the National Letter of Intent signings of seven student-athletes set to join the program for the 2022 season.
"The women's lacrosse coaching staff is thrilled and excited to welcome this group of young ladies to our program," head coach Laura Korutz said. "Their high character, work ethic, and enthusiasm for the game will be an asset moving forward as we seek our fourth NEC Championship."
Maci Black
Hometown: Spring Lake Heights, N.J.
High School: Manasquan
Position: Midfield/Defense
Athletics Accomplishments:
- 2019 U.S. Lacrosse National School Girls Team.
- 2019 T3 Elite All-Star Team.
- 2017 All-Star team at the NXT Showcase in Philadelphia.
- 2017 Monmouth University Battle of the Beach 7 vs. 7 Champion
- Lettered in both basketball and lacrosse as a freshman for the Warriors.
- Plays for the Jersey Shore Select Lacrosse elite travel team.
Shae Insinga
Hometown: Wantagh, N.Y.
High School: Wantagh
Position: Midfield
Athletics Accomplishments:
- Lettered for four years in lacrosse.
- Plays for Legacy Lacrosse club.
- Also a two-year letter winner on the soccer team.

- Earned a spot in the National Honor Society.
Aidan Carlson
Hometown: East Moriches, N.Y.
High School: Eastport South Manor
Position: Midfield/Attack
Athletic Accomplishments:
- Three-year member of the lacrosse team.
- Named lacrosse Rookie of the Year in 2019.
- Helped her team won the lacrosse state championships against Fayetteville-Manlius in 2019.
- Played club for Legacy Lacrosse.

- Member of Varsity Leaders Club.
- Earned a spot in the National Honors Society, World Language Honors Society and English Honors Society.
Lisa Martin
