Pioneers Earn IWLCA Academic Honors

Eight Pioneers were named to the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.— The Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team was named to the 2021 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squads after posting a 3.46 cumulative grade point average. The Pioneers have earned this accolade in four out of the last five seasons.
In addition, eight Pioneers were named to the Division I Academic Honor Roll.
Sacred Heart joins 319 schools in all Division I, II, III and NAIA in receiving this honor. To qualify, the team must post a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
Student-athletes who qualify for the honor roll must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Elizabeth Small received the award for the second time.
