Kittredge led Pioneers with season-high three goals
FAIRFIELD, Conn.— Despite taking the lead in the fourth quarter, the Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team could not complete the comeback against Manhattan and fell 10-6 in its final non-conference game of the season on Wednesday.

After the game-opening goal from Lydia Werlau, Manhattan went on a five-goal stretch that went into the second quarter. In the final minutes before halftime, Emma Kittredge contributed back-to-back goals to cut the Jaspers lead, 5-3.
Kittredge's goals sparked a 5-0 run that spanned into the fourth quarter and helped the Pioneers regain the lead, 6-5, with 11:56 remaining.
The Pioneers could not hold the lead for long as the Jaspers registered five more goals in the final seven minutes to seal the victory.
Kittredge led Sacred Heart with a season-high three goals while Eacrett, Colesworthy and Werlau registered one apiece. Megan Agrillo and Black picked up three ground balls each.
