
Kittredge and Nolan Pick Up SHU’s First Weekly Honors

Kittredge selected Offensive POW; Nolan collects Defensive POW
SOMERSET, N.J.— Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse attacker Emma Kittredge and midfielder Kelly Nolan received the first Northeast Conference Weekly accolades of the season for the Pioneers on Monday.
Kittredge was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Nolan earned Defensive Player of the Week.
Kittredge, a native of Baldwin Place, N.Y., matched her career-high with four goals at Manhattan. The senior tied the game to force overtime in a hard-fought 14-13 SHU setback.
Nolan, a native of Cross River, N.Y., matched her career-high with two goals and tallied a career-high six ground balls and two caused turnovers.
LIU's Julia Trainor was named the league's Rookie of the Week.
The Pioneers are back in action on Wednesday as it travels to Quinnipiac for a non-conference contest at 3 p.m.
