Reinold records 100th career point
HAMDEN, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team fell at Quinnipiac, 16-11, on Wednesday.

Sacred Heart jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals from graduate students Grace Reinold and Lydia Werlau. Quinnipiac used a 4-0 run to get in front at the end of the first period.
The Pioneers notched the first three goals for the one-point edge to start the second period. After the Bobcats posted back-to-back points, junior Kelly Nolan tied the game at six. But, Quinnipiac tallied six-straight goals and built a lead that SHU couldn't overcome.
Quinnipiac had a 13-6 advantage in ground balls, while outshooting SHU, 26-20.
Senior Emma Kittredge was the leading scorer for the second-straight time, finishing with three goals. Reinold earned her 100th career point on the first goal of the contest.
