Pannone comes to SHU from Albertus Magnus College where she served as head coach of both the women's lacrosse and field hockey teams during the 2021-22 season. She coached two members of the women's lacrosse players who were selected to the All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference team. Off the field, Pannone oversaw the student-athlete's academic progress. Twelve members of both field hockey and women's lacrosse combined were named to the league's All-Academic team.

Prior to Albertus Magnus, Pannone coached women's lacrosse and field hockey at the secondary school level in the Connecticut area for eight years. She began her career as head field hockey coach at North Branford Middle School in 2013 and later joined the girls lacrosse team at North Branford High School as an assistant in 2016. Pannone held both positions till 2019.

In 2020, she went on to become the head junior varsity and assistant varsity coach for field hockey at North Haven High School and head girls lacrosse coach at Bunnell High School for two seasons.

In addition to her duties at SHU, Pannone is also a club coach. She became head coach of R2 Lacrosse Club after its founding in August 2022. The program serves players in the New York Metropolitan Area. Prior to R2 Lacrosse Club, Pannone served three seasons (2019-2022) as a coach at Team 91 Tristate. She is also very active in her community where she has been coaching the town of North Branford's girl's rec lacrosse league for the last nine years.

She holds an associate's degree in science in Drug Alcohol Recovery Counselor from Gateway Community College (2017) and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Albertus Magnus (2022). Pannone resides in Northford with her two children, Nicholas (15) and Lily (13).
