2015 IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart women's lacrosse team has been named an IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association) Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for the 2015-16 academic year.
In order to qualify for the honor, a team has to have a 3.0 or higher team grade point average for the year. In all, 275 schools across all three division of the NCAA and NAIA earned the award.
Additionally, nine Pioneers were named to the 2016 IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll. Student-Athletes that earned this honor must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater. Graduating seniors Carly Cavagnaro, Paige DeVine, Jesslyn Joseph, and Jenna Liljeberg were named to the Honor Roll along with juniors Brenna Betsch, Kylie Calandra, Samantha Carpinello, Emily Corrice, and Liana Doyle.
