- Played in 14 games, starting the NEC Tournament semifinal against Bryant on May 6
- Had three ground balls and two caused turnovers against Fairfield on March 2
- Also had three ground balls at Robert Morris on April 10
2015:
- Played in 15 games, starting in six of them
- Tallied 10 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers
- Had two caused turnovers in five separate games during the year
2014: Carpinello saw action in four games as a rookie, making her debut at Vermont on March 15. She made her first collegiate start in the win at Saint Francis U, recording her first collegiate draw control in the victory. Carpinello had a ground ball and a caused turnover in the win over LIU.
Before SHU: Carpinello attended Freehold Township High School where she earned three varsity letters in lacrosse. As a senior she was named her squad's defensive MVP and was selected First-Team All-Division and Second-Team All-Shore. The Star-Ledger named her First-Team All-Shore Conference. Carpinello was a four-year cheerleader, serving as team captain.
Personal: Samantha Carpinello is the daughter of Patricia and Michael Carpinello and has a younger sibling, Taylor. She is majoring in Psychology and Education and plans on becoming a special education teacher and lacrosse coach after her time at SHU.
