Of Note:
Sacred Heart jumped out to an early lead in the opening quarter behind a pair of unassisted goals. Jamie Tanner opened the scoring at the 12:40 mark, and Sadie Stevens followed with another solo effort at 4:32 to give the Pioneers a 2–0 advantage.
University of New Hampshire responded in the second quarter, but Sacred Heart countered when Adisyn Bernhardt finished a feed from Maggie Araneo at 10:29 to extend the lead to 3–0. The Wildcats answered with a goal from Rose Pavuk at 7:45 before Piper Boudreau scored unassisted to pull New Hampshire within one. Pavuk then scored twice in the final two minutes of the half — including a goal with 1:15 remaining — to give the Wildcats a 4–3 edge at the break.
The Pioneers tied the game early in the third quarter when Tanner netted her second unassisted goal of the afternoon at the 4:26 mark, evening the score at 4–4.
New Hampshire regained the lead in the fourth quarter on a goal by Libby Boland at 10:52 and added two more tallies from Pavuk to close out the contest and secure the 7–4 decision.
